I draw my inspiration from my surroundings. I try to capture the textures, colors, and lines hidden in nature’s palette.

Inspiration can come from anywhere in my environment. Once an idea has been formed, I them choose among an array of techniques and materials to complete each piece. Some pieces lend themselves to fabric, others to papers, watercolors or acrylics. I love to combine abstraction and realism in my work creating artwork with an “edge”.

My artworks are a meditation on nature. Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I like creating them.
